Our Company

In the year 1991-1992, Benedicto Suaybaguio, or Benny as called by many began to have an interest in refrigerators and air conditioners and so he decided to enroll in a technical school where he learned the basics of refrigeration and air conditioning though during that time, he was also a freshman student studying Bachelor of Science in Accountancy at a certain university. After the on-the-job training required from an air-con technician, Benny felt that he has a special calling from the Lord and so he temporarily stopped his studies to prioritize serving the Lord as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Two years later after he has served a full time mission, he returned to Lucena and went back to college to finish the course he started a few years back. He did so while he supports himself through selling fish and being employed as a messenger/janitor at Insular Life Assurance Co., Ltd Lucena District Office. As he daily performs his duties, he noticed that the said establishment uses 12 units of airconditioners: 4 of which are 5 tonner and 8 are 3 tonner types. He also found out that the said units are maintained by an air-con shop well known in his city but to his surprise and dismay, the shop’s performance does not meet his expectations. Once again, his interest in airconditioners was triggered and he told himself that he can do better than the technicians he has observed.
A few years went by. In May 1998, Benny got married. He was still studying and was on his third year in college. It was not long after when he quit his job as a janitor and established his own business and named it Bountiful Refrigeration and Air conditioning where his wife Marjorie serves as the registered owner. Through the support of his loving wife and family he was awarded his first maintenance contract at Insular Life, maintaining 12 split type airconditioners-- mainly responsible for the units’ cleaning, trouble shooting and repair. Other clients followed such as: China Banking Corporation, Bureau of Internal Revenue Lucena, Bureau of Internal Revenue San Pablo, and Bureau of Internal Revenue Cavite. Because of the quality of service his shop provides, many companies followed such as East West Bank, Prudential life, Coco plans, Mid town Pavillon, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints under FM Art Maligon, Micron Auto Supply, PNP Camp Nakar and many residential houses in Lucena City.
As the business continues to expand, Benny’s health started to deteriorate. He was diagnosed to have asthma and was advised to take longer periods of rest. He was probably having these problems because of the handful responsibilities he has to fulfill-----as a manager-technician, college student, husband and a father. Fortunately, this happened when he was on his final year in college and so immediately after graduation, he worked as a bookkeeper at Hindsdale Realty Development Corporation. After a year he landed a job as a teller at Insular Life (the same company he worked for a janitor several years back) and also one of his retainer -clients. The increased demand on his time as a teller and manager-technician of Bountiful including the rigors of a growing family was too much to handle so he decided to close the business and focus his efforts in becoming an efficient employee. He then informed his clients regarding the matter and referred some of his clients to other air-con servicing centers. However, some clients were still loyal to him and requested that their units be serviced after office hours when Benny is already off from work. Thus, air-con servicing became his part time job providing additional income for his growing family.
In the year 2008 having attended various trainings in the Employment Resource Center, and after much thought and consideration, Benny decided to reactivate his Refrigeration and Air Con business and resign from his seven years of service at Insular Life. He now named it Bounty Cool Airconditioning and Refrigeration Services with him as the registered owner and manager. Fortunately, he was able to win back his old clients and once again, through the honest, efficient and quality service his shop continuously provides, he established a good reputation. To equip himself further as an entrepreneur, in 2010 he enrolled and completed entrepreneurship from The Academy of Creating Enterprise. Today, Bounty Cool is the authorized service center of Kolin Phils, Hitachi Phils, Panasonic and ASERCO.
